Beauty distribution company Win Beauty Solutions, which offers a new, nationally fueled, locally controlled approach to distribution that maximizes best practices to support salon owners and hair stylists, has named Scott Missad the new CEO.
Throughout his four decades of leadership in the beauty industry, Missad has built beauty and personal care brands, including Redken, Aquage, Rusk and more. He led distribution companies, including Beauty Alliance, and headed the Gene Juarez upscale salon, day spa and cosmetology academy chain. He also launched Strictly Business, a business education company for beauty professionals, among his many accomplishments.
“I am incredibly enthusiastic about returning to my roots of serving the hairdressing community,” said Missad. “Win Beauty will combine the resources and sophistication of the large national distribution companies with the personal touch of the local independent distributors who know their customers personally and are dedicated to supporting their success.”
Acquisition of Largo

Kelly Huether, president and cofounder, Life of Riley Salon Supply.
celebrates its 10th anniversary this fall. Life of Riley Salon Supply serves salons, spas, barbershops and beauty supply stores in 14 states plus Puerto Rico through its 36 salon consultants and 17 sub distributor store locations.
Following the acquisition, Life of Riley Salon Supply’s president and co-founder Kelly Huether has been named vice president of distribution development at Win Beauty Solutions. He will reunite with Missad to seek distributor and sub-distributor candidates throughout North America. Both career-long veterans of the Professional Beauty Industry, Missad and Huether were instrumental in building the Beauty Alliance network.
“Over the years, Bob Larson, my lifelong friend and business partner at Life of Riley Salon Supply, and I have been approached by many groups that wanted to buy Life of Riley, but inevitably, all of them wanted to abandon our name, our heritage and possibly even some of our employees who helped build the company,” said Huether. “Win Beauty Solutions was quite the opposite. They embraced our name, our heritage and, most importantly, the employees and customers who helped build this business.”
He continued, “Not only will our employees keep their jobs, but they are motivated to add fuel to the fire and help Life of Riley grow and expand into more states. I am excited to work with Missad again and know that we can provide the most attractive and viable option for professional beauty businesses that are seeking options when they want to retire, exit or grow their distributorships.”
